TItanium Forge - Fixes were made to reconnect this to the game. Please thank Noklove for his assistance resolving this issue. Misc - Items between the last update and July 3rd that were submitted have been resolved. This includes typos, quests, monsters, and events.

I have now gone through every item in our system and flagged it for the organization it belongs to. All of the typos that were submitted except the ones involving the snowy wastes have been put live. After doing some research on the rune-forging system that were submitted I found some issues with the mixtures. These should now be resolved and the arcana should work properly.

This has also resolved the issue involving the jewelery mixtures. All of the references to gun-powder and cannons have been removed. Those items do not exist in Terris so they have been replaced with other items such as catapolts. Most importantly a testing area was put into the game not connected so that I would be able to test some live enhancements being added.

This will allow me to get some testing done and see how it affects a customer's character without us putting it live and messing your character's up. Modifications were made to some monsters to alter their stats. This includes the "Old Hermit" as well as some of the town- specific monsters. Stat changes were made on items to get some more of them inline with where other items are. This mostly concerns the Barbarians' Guild and some titanium forging items.

By request of some customers and staff I have started blocking some "rare" items from being summonable. This way there cannot be cries of abuse. Only about more items to go to get this stage of the process complete. Unused rooms and events have been set aside for recycling. This will give us a better idea of how we can get new or expanded areas into the game.

Ongoing work with OGC staff to see where we can realistically provide enhancements to existing systems. Until I know more details of what we are doing though I will not go into more depth. These do include much of what was talked about and asked for in the past.

It now comes down to figure out how to best get these in without completely destroying the existing experience of the game.

To keep that from happening again the exact specifics will not be mentioned until we know if we will go forward with the project or push it back until a later date.

Witchfalls has had an almost complete rewrite due to a RP. This pretty much redoes the entire area in every way. Silver Rock has had some changes within their rooms for housing and perhaps a RP area. For more contact Heimdall or Crucifix. Items that are for Guilds, Temples, Cities, HHs, Awarded, and Landwide have had updates to descriptions, stats, flagging, and some have been removed. Some of the mithril items have been increased in stats to allow forgers to sell them again.

If I find that I can make more changes in the future to those items that will help the economy I might do that as well. Some of the items were found to no longer have a real placement within the game. These were placed back into the game in a realistic place. Other items that were completely OOC and had no place were removed. As was voted on by the players in a past poll some of the items have been changed to link towards their rank ingame.

Not even close to all the items were changed to reflect this. Once I know that each rank flag works then I will get to the rest and change the stats. This way if something goes wrong not everyone loses items. The Temple of Chaos is now ingame. There are some more enhancements needed before it is live for the players. Axx has been made aware what is still needed so members of that temple can contact a TL there. It was found that a few old quests were removed in the past.

A few of these have been placed back ingame. Hermit Forest has had many changes. It is not as easily figured out, but the rewards might be worth it for those that can. All skill shops have been adjusted. Some guilds have had skills slightly lowered, other guilds have had skills slightly raised. Since I saw it listed on the Thieves' boards - You were given the skill change you received because I have plans to enhance that skill to allow many new things during the upcoming year.

Any random shops that were HoA shops that were mistakenly placed ingame have been removed. No shop should teach anything to levels above Uber-Ultranix. Only guild item shops at this time. Some landwide weapons and armor have seen upgrades to put them in line with their difficulty to gain. As some people have seen over the past month the ranking lists have been altered.

This is something that was submitted a long time ago and asked for over the years. More changes and alteration might be made to make the "lowrank" and "midrank" more inline with the current level structure. All "awarded" assassin and thief items should be balanced. What more could you want? Everything is pretty much laid out for you when you start playing so you know what you should start by doing and there are always people to help you out if you need it!

If you want to try a mud that will suck you in and then you wont want to get out, I'd try Legends of Terris! Once you feel everything this place has to give you wont want to leave! Besides even you, a newer person that stays around long enough might even become a staff member someday! Most of the staff that I've seen within the game are actually people that you've known and helped or hunted or even was friends with that person!

Well take your time and try this place out Really the choice is up to you If you want to take it: WWW. I can't truthfully say that Terris is the best MUD on the internet. Terris is the best newbie MUD, however. If you're new to these types of games, than it's perfect for you.

The commands are fairly easy to figure out, the systems of the game arn't overly complex. There's no need to worry about food, drink, or sleep. The skill training system is also fairly simple.

Nearly everything you need is either shown to you or in help files somewhere. This lack of complexity doesn't make it an easy game, however. There are still challenges and all that instore for you. As previously pointed, there are lots of quests. Some, yes, are broken. Others are such a challenge that some players lack the intellect to solve them. But isn't that just how life is sometimes?

About the staff The player base has dwindled, as has the number of staff in the game. While I've rarely had an issue with staff myself, some other players seem to have.

If you can do this, then I'd be overly impressed. While it is difficult to get staff motivated with player events, they are there. Mind you, there are some 'players' who appear to look like staff. They hold powers, but they're not full staff members. These are Barons. While most barons are nice and professional, some mainly one can be less than professional. As far as updates go, over the last 7 years of playing Terris I have seen the game change dramatically.

While updates arn't fired off every week or so, they do happen. Perhaps if more players gave the game a try, the owners would be motivated to do more?

And that does bring me to players This is by far the only negative thing I have to say about the game. In Terris, there three types of players. You have the good players, the roleplayers, the ones that try to make the game fun for themselves AND others, rather at the expense of others. This sort of player is beginning to dwindle They are being replaced by the next type of player, the non-roleplaying players.

These are the ones that really keep to themselves and only care about what their stat numbers look like. While this is fine, the fact that this makes up for a large percentage of the playerbase makes Terris more stale.

The last type are the gits. The morons. Those who sit there and do nothing bit complain about staff, the game, and what they think life should be like.

These are the players who have no care for allowing the game to grow. The don't help other people, and if possible, they make other's lives miserable. These the This game has alot to offer.

It's a chat room! Course it has the same rules as the AOL year old chat rooms, but all adults like being monitored like they are 6 don't they? It has thousands of rooms! It has active staff! Ok well it has a few who bother to show up, the rest just pop in long enough to treat you like they really ARE gods in real life and you should kiss their backsides Players can attain Godhood!

FEW and far between but it does happen and only those who are 'middle of the road' and kiss backsides get it, cause we all know a roleplay game shouldn't have roleplayers as staff You can talk privately to your friends in the wonderful chat system! Unless you annoy one of the overated and overego'ed then they tell any of their friends your account information, but you didn't really want personal privacy, did you? This game has everything a player could ask for as far as quests, updates, roleplay and good friends but as long as Snazzle remains as staff, there will be backstabbing, bashing and behind the scenes manipulations that make the game far less than fun. I was enthralled by the players about, all the cool spiffy things and the way everyone was always helping and interacting. Over the years the population has declined but Terris still holds that magic for me. Its a place where one can come and play and indeed make a legend for themselves. The staff are back in action, interacting and coming up with new rps. The players are more interactive than ever and their voices are being heard. We get to help shape the future of the lands and many get to help behind the scenes.

All in all the game is getting much better and we have many more exciting things planned. Terris can be a wonderful place when staff allows you the freedom of RP and joins in as well. In the last 6 months I have ceased playing. Some of the staff actually one in particular have gotten a "GOD" complex and feel the need to interfere in things that do not concern them. One staff member in particular who enjoys powerplaying way too much, if you are her friend you can have anything you want game-wise.
